Be Inspired at Active Kids Newtown

Active Kids Newtown is a child care centre located in the busy suburb of Newtown, about a 10 minute walk from Newtown train station. At our child care in Newtown, we are committed to providing the ideal early learning curriculum and learning environment for every child.

At Active Kids Group, our child care play-based program focuses on using the children’s interest and strengths to scaffold on their learning. At our day care in Newtown, we believe that school readiness starts from the nursery. Play based early education provides opportunities to continuously cultivate the social skills during play time and to create and maintain friendships.

Here at Active Kids Newtown, we aim to open the door to the wonder and excitement of learning, discovering and exploring. We believe this is depicted throughout the whole child care centre, from our open play spaces and extraordinary mural painting, to our educators inspiring each and every child to follow in their interests.

With families as our primary day care partner, we nurture a love of learning. We actively seek the participation of all families in Sydney to become involved in all our events which reflect the surrounding communities and families within our child care centre. We encourage community networking and building relationships with other families at the early learning centre.

We also hold fundraising events to support numerous causes such as The Bandaged Bear Appeal, The Big Red BBQ and The Pink Ribbon Breakfast amongst others. Our pre-schoolers connect with the community and go on excursions to the local library, shops and parks twice a week.
