Thumbelina is a long day care centre in Edgecliff that has been educating children under Active Kids Group since 2010. Parents can expect to find only the highest quality equipment and facilities awaiting their children. Nestled in a quiet leafy neighbourhood in Edgecliff, our child care centre is located a short walking distance away from Edgecliff station and 5 ways in Paddington.
Our Edgecliff child care centre provides quality educational programs for 33 children per day, ranging in age from 8 weeks to 6 years. Thumbelina has a strong community connection and ensures all families and their children feel safe and secure and have a sense of belonging throughout their Early Childhood journey.
Our day care centre is divided over 3 levels and the children have designated areas for both indoor and outdoor play. Our 3 outdoor environments are designed to ensure all-natural elements have been considered and feature Australian sandstone throughout.
Our preschool provides a range of nutritional meals that are carefully planned and prepared by our experienced on-site chef. Each menu is multicultural in flavour, diverse in nutrients and nutritionally balanced ensuring all dietary guidelines for long day care services are met.

We have been part of the family for 4 years now and would recommend this child care centre in Sydney to anyone. They really do create a family environment.
