Learn About Woollahra Cottage
Woollahra Cottage is a child care centre in that is accessed via a quiet cul-de-sac within walking distance of Westfield Bondi Junction. The convenient location makes our day care centre easily accessible to families within the local community whether they are using public transport or driving. Our centre provides only the highest level of quality care and caters for 66 children per day, operating since 2013.
Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, our qualified educators work in collaboration with the children and families to meet their needs and enrich their learning. Our learning spaces incorporate all areas of development using elements of nature within our environments. This includes, but is not limited to a Zen Den used as a quiet retreat for yoga, reading and relaxation.
We uniquely incorporate a program especially designed by our Learn and Grow Team which consists of a Fitness Coach, Language and Dance & Drama teachers that deliver weekly sessions for the children during the school term.
At our Woollahra child care, our simulated outdoor spaces give children the opportunity to explore different environments at their leisure. Imbedded within our program from the day your child starts at our service, we start to prepare them for life beyond the classroom.
In the year leading up to their graduation we have a strong focus on school readiness skills, inclusive of our School Liaison program with our local school, Woollahra Public School.

We love Active Kids and have had two child in care over the last 5 years – Thumbelina and Woollahra Cottage. Our son is currently at Woollahra Cottage and the level of care and kindness is amazing. He has had several carers over the years as he has moved through the age levels and with each has come a very special and unique bond, with so much love. He has formed special relationships with all of his carers and talks about them fondly. It is his home away from home and we always feel at ease to get in contact with any questions that may come up.
