I have been working in the early childhood sector for over 5 years now. I always wanted to make a career in the childcare sector. I have explored a variety of childcare roles during my time at AKG. I started off as an educator in the Nursery room and moved into a Room leader role within the toddler’s room. During my time as the toddler’s room leader, I also lead the curriculum as an Educational leader and took on a 2IC role before taking on the role of centre coordinator.
I am also a Registered Nurse in Nepal and worked at a Children’s Hospital for a few years. My passion since then has only grown even greater. Working with children has been a huge part of my life. It has been both inspiring and rewarding. My aim is to provide a warm, safe, secure and nurturing environment for the children. I strive for the holistic development of children by building trusting relationships and enhancing their sense of belonging and wellbeing. I strongly believe every child is unique and each has different qualities, so I ensure that we respect that and focus on blooming their personality, unique qualities and abilities by stimulating their interests and potential through daily routine and activities. Help them grow as an individual, explore the world and understand themselves and others.
