We have updated our policies and created new procedures to reflect the safety measures needed to maintain and ensure the health and safety of our children, families and educators.

Temperature checks
AKG will conduct daily temperature checks of each child and educator. If a temperature of 37.5c or above is detected, the child or educator will require a medical clearance before returning to the service.

A designated drop off and pick up zone
Families will be required to drop off/pick up in one designated area that will be outlined by each individual service. This will remove foot traffic through our services and reduce children being exposed to external contaminants.

Social distancing
Social distancing must be maintained at all times where possible.

Hand Sanitiser
All children and parents are to use the hand sanitiser upon entry to, and leaving the service

Shared water stations
Families will not be required to provide drink bottles for their children. AKG will ensure children are provided with ample water throughout the day.

No external visitors
No external visitors will be permitted to enter any of the AKG services. In the event an external visitor is required to visit, a health declaration form will be signed upon entry to ensure we continue to maintain the integrity of our health and safety practices.

Contactless deliveries
Contactless deliveries are now in effect. Delivery personnel are allocated a secure space without any employee requiring to enter the premise for drop off.
Importantly:
We ask that you telephone your Service Coordinator immediately if you are contacted by a public health official and advised that your child, you or another member of your household:
- Is a confirmed case of COVID-19
- Is being investigated as a suspected case of COVID-19 and/or is being tested for COVID-19
- Has been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19
