My name is Mary Ann and as a child, I always dreamed of becoming a teacher. As a result, I decided to take up a Bachelor in Secondary Education, majoring in English. I then transitioned to Early Education and obtained my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care in Australia. Prior to working at Active Kids Group as the 2IC and now Service Coordinator, I had experience working as an early childhood adviser in Thailand for over 3 years.
I want to assist children with their early learning and work with them through play to get over their challenges. This is the life stage where I can be a part of a child’s life where I can have an impact on their development. I am convinced that it helps me improve, sharpen, and increase my teaching abilities to work effectively with young children.
I chose to work at Active Kids Group because I have always wanted to become a certified early childhood educator since I was a child. I want every child to understand their value and how much fun learning is. Ultimately, Active Kids Group also allows me to work with specific age groups, preparing me to work with young children, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
After several years of experience in the field, I am more equipped and fit to continue my professional life. It has always been my hope as a Coordinator to oversee educational programs, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Moreover, I enjoy leading and encouraging my team to reach goals while implementing the childcare’s values through their work. Having a good ambiance of learning facilities and advanced instructional materials is also very important and it is why I love working at Active Kids Group. These materials and the way our childcare centre is structured, including it’s amazing educators, will give children the opportunity to learn and grow into their own person.
