- Firefighters: The local fire department sent some firefighters to visit our childcare centres, complete with a fire truck. The children learned about fire safety, what to do in case of a fire, and how to call for help. The highlight of the visit was when the firefighters let the children try on their gear and spray water from the fire hose.
- Musicians: We’ve had several musicians visit our centre, each with a different instrument or style of music. The children were able to listen to live music, sing along, and even try out some of the instruments. It was a great opportunity for the children to appreciate different genres of music and learn about rhythm and melody.
