Shristi
Thumbelina Service Coordinator
With over five years of experience in the Early Childhood industry holding an ECT degree, I have had the privilege of being part of the AKG team, where I contributed in various roles, from being assistant educator, toddler room leader and 2IC. I am now excited to be serving as the Acting Coordinator at Thumbelina, where I continue to foster growth and excellence within the team.
Alongside my role, I have honed my leadership and coordination skills, taking on responsibilities such as upskilling staff, supporting the team, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the service. I am committed to building effective communication and collaboration, ensuring that everyone who works directly with children are working together as a team to help children thrive.
At AKG, professional development is always encouraged, and I’ve been fortunate to benefit from ongoing training that has expanded my knowledge and skillset. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, both for educators and for the children we care for. I am deeply passionate about understanding what inspires children and how to create learning experiences that encourage their curiosity and growth.
At the heart of my work as a centre Coordinator, is a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and helping them discover their unique potential. My goal is to create an environment where each child feels safe, confident, and encouraged to explore, learn, and express themselves freely. I am committed to fostering strong relationships with both the children and my team, ensuring that every educator is supported and empowered to provide the best care and learning experiences possible.
