Our Childcare Healthy Living Ambassador Libby Babet has another delicious, quick and easy recipe for you to try at home. Read below as she teaches you to make some healthy pizza snacks for you child. These pizza pockets only have a few ingredients and are so healthy that you and your kids can enjoy them for a snack or even for dinner.
The three simple ingredients are:
- Pita Bread or Wraps
- Tomato Paste
- Carrot
- Zucchini
- Cheese
- Optional: Your choice of protein
Step 1: Spead the tomato paste on your pita bread.
Step 2: Finely chop the carrot and zucchini, drain out all the excess water and place onto your pita bread.
Step 3: Sprinkle on some cheese
Step 4: Add your choice of protein (optional)
Step 5: Cook in the oven for a few minutes
