Rose Bay Service Coordinator
I have been part of the Active Kids Group team for almost 5 years, most recently at our Bondi service, and I am grateful for the opportunity to now be the Service Coordinator at Rose Bay Cottage.
I have completed my Bachelor of Early Childhood in Education and Care in 2021. My position at AKG Bondi also included the Preschool room Leader, Educational Leader, and Second-in-Charge.
The team at AKG has always believed in my capabilities as an Early Childhood Educator, continuously supporting me in becoming more effective and efficient in any role assigned to me. This approach has greatly helped me not only develop my knowledge and understanding as both an educator and a leader, but also boost my confidence in myself, reminding me that ‘I am capable, and I can’.
When I was growing up, I developed a strong passion for working with children, and this passion became my vision and mission when I began my career as a primary school teacher back home, and now as an early childhood educator. My goal has always been to provide high-quality education and care, supporting children in their development and learning during their early years — a foundation that will be essential as they grow older.
I believe that every child is unique and has their own learning style and pace. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment where children can explore, learn, and have fun. My teaching approach is centered around play-based learning, as children learn best when they are engaged and having fun.
Early childhood education seemed like a career with plenty of opportunities where I could explore many different avenues. There are so many ways to progress and grow within the field. Working with children has brought so much joy to my life — their creativity, the laughter, and the connections we make are truly fulfilling. It’s an experience that continues to inspire me every day.”
